Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding is a low cost yet effective greening method by spraying seeds over a large area by water power.

Hydroseeding is a low cost yet effective greening method by spraying seeds over a large area by water power.  A mixture of seeds, adhesives, fibers and fertilizers will be sprayed over the surface of the land to be greened. This method is commonly used for slope greening on both sides of highways and railroads, protection, farmland replanting, landfill, and garbage mulching.

We have our own "Hydroseeder ", which combines the functions of mixing and spraying grass seed mixture to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of grass spraying.

▍ Why using a "Hydroseeder"?

  • Hydroseeder is equipped with special high-pressure pulp pump to allow higher pulp pump flow and less pump jamming, resulting in high spraying efficiency

  • It can accommodate a large amount of rice hulls, grass fibers and sawdust to improve pulp adhesion and is particularly effective for spraying high and steep slopes

▍ General Process

  1. Prepare the required grass seed mixture according to the site area

  2. Spary the mixture of grass seed, newspaper, adhesives, fertilizer and color powder evenly on the soil surface

  3. When needed, place a white protective netting on the mud surface where the grass seed mixture has been sprayed for protection

  4. After 28 days of spraying, the grass coverage will be 90% or more (rocks and shaded areas are not included)
